Charity

As a community bank, naturally, we are completely committed to the community in which we serve, which is South Florida. One way of demonstrating that commitment is through partnership with local charities. We are proud to say that we’ve raised thousands upon thousands of dollars over the years through company donations, as well as donations from our employees and customers. Our employees and their families have participated in numerous fundraising activities and donated countless hours to raising awareness and making a difference. We are so proud of our employees and we thank them for their tireless efforts and generosity. We look forward to continue working with South Florida charities to make a difference in this community for the years to come.

It's America's favorite walking event! When you walk, you give hope to the families of babies born too soon or sick. The money you raise supports programs in your community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. And it funds research to find answers to the serious problems that threaten our babies. We've been walking since 1970 and have raised an incredible $1.8 billion to benefit all babies.

The name “Kiwanis” means “we trade” or “we share our talents.” It was coined from an American Indian expression, Nunc Kee-wanis. Kiwanians are volunteers changing the world through service to children and communities. Kiwanis members help shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, mentor the disadvantaged, and care for the sick.

Community Partnership for Homeless has been assisting homeless men, women and children in transitioning off the streets of Miami-Dade County and on thier way to attaining greater stability and self-sufficiency in thier lives. As the private sector partner of the Miami-Dade County Homeless Turst, we have continually been recognized as a national model for our comprehensive approach to helping the homeless. Our program's main catalyst for success...the Homeless Assistance Centers...operate as one-stop temporary care entry points that provide not just food and shelter, but comprehensive case management, healthcare, daycare, dental services, job training and other assistance from a variety of social service agencies all under one roof.
Above all, however, is our deeply held conviction that those temporarily homeless persons in our care shall always be treated with the greatest compassion, dignity and respect.
