Mark Lizzi named Director of Sales & Marketing

Mark A. Lizzi, a 16-year veteran of the banking industry, has joined Turnberry Bank as Director of Sales & Marketing, announces Evan T. Rees, bank President.

“Mark Lizzi brings a wealth of banking experience to our locally owned and operated federal savings bank,” said Rees. “He is well-qualified and highly focused on helping Turnberry Bank maintain its position as one of the premier financial institutions in South Florida.”

As Director of Sales & Marketing, Lizzi will be responsible for developing high-performing sales teams and executing the sales and marketing processes at Turnberry Bank. In addition, he will be responsible for leading, coaching and developing the Branch Sales Managers and their teams in sales performance, profitability, general ledger growth, customer experience, service delivery, and employee development and retention. 

Previously, Lizzi was First Vice President – Business Banking Area Manager for JP Morgan Chase where he managed sales and business development for the South Florida region from 2007 - 2009. He also served as Senior Vice President – Sales and Underwriting Manager at BankAtlantic from 1997 – 2007 and as a small business underwriter, credit analyst and sales and service associate at Barnett Bank from 1994 – 1997.

Lizzi attended the University of Florida from 1987 – 1990 where he majored in Political Science and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1993 from Florida Metropolitan University in Ft. Lauderdale. He is active in the Cooper City Optimist Little League and was a former board member of MetroBroward.
